Second raidnight and we went to look at a few more hardmodes. We expected Valithria Dreamwalker to be easy but we ended up spending over an hour to get it sorted. After having a glance at the Blood Princes hardmode we left it for next week, killed them on normal, and went up to the queen. As far as that hardmode goes we didnt really notice the difference from normal mode, and we got the easiest mark yet. So 2 more bosses are down, lets see what night three has to offer!

So since we flung mr Lich King of his throne last week we now had the opportunity to try hardmodes during three raidnights this reset. Raidnight one and we poked sticks at the first four bosses, of which we thought Marrowgar gave us the most grief.

After umpteen weeks of planned progress raids being shattered due to server instability and other silly outer circumstances we finally got a full raidday to the Lich King. Kingslayers, Finally! We all felt really relieved, even if we were much enjoying Niljas stories about genitalia on trees and seeing others fail at resurrecting (Astral Recall and Ancestral Spirit look very similar!) i think we were all pretty satisfied to be done with him. Now we just have to return and do it every week on hardmode. Go go go!

With the help of Happy Apple Designs we have a brand new website theme, custom made for us! Some things will probably be tweaked along the way but it works and personally i think it looks cool. Thank you Happy Apple Designs, and thanks to Saerdon and Drsnuggles for posing for the banner!

So for the second raid day of group 2 we had only three bosses left alive, Professor Putricide, Sindragosa and *trumpets* the Lich King. We started off with the dragon lady in case we had to spend all 20 attempts on her, but it turned out that that was not the case. Before we knew it we were at the Lich King with 14 attempts left. Just to realise… he didnt look at all like we had expected! The picture below show that some features look eerily similar to members of this guild!! In any case we called him on his sneaky attempt to disguise himself and blew through all 14 attempts to kill him, getting pretty good at the first phase and.. well mainly just the first phase. Seems this one will take some effort to get down.

Hmm… next time we should bring the heavy artillery… perhaps a full druid raid with just moonkin dps!! Surely he wont kill his own kind but instead surrender, cry and hand over the loots! This shall be considered Plan A for next reset!!! Moahaha!!! *crazy cackeling*

After having two raidweeks where we didnt have time to go see Putricide at all within raidtime we finally got back up to his laboratory. Our only problem was that we hadn’t had any practise on the fight before. Well.. it turned out that it wasnt as complicated as we initially thought. Saerdon went nom nom nom and the rest of us killed oozes and dodged flasks and goo, and all of a sudden Putricide was pulverised.

First we swooped in and made the three princes bite the dust… after they had killed us numerous times but that’s not important.. and then we went to have an audience with the queen. After getting her down to 16k health, which was so very frustrating, we had a few more goes at her and finally, with just a few seconds to spare, she was dead. The queen is dead, long live the peons! (though technically we’ll probably very shortly die on some random trash pulled by some autorunning shadowpriest reading a forum)

The first two bosses in Plagueworks seemed familiar somehow. In a cartain angle in a certain light they reminded us of Kittenface.. or if it was of Bartie? Well we killed them days ago, just that we didnt post about it, so i have forgotten who it was. We seem to have lost the screenshots so below is a pretty accurate artistic interpretation of these bosses. We’re currently looking for a new template for the website and in the meantime it looks very messy here. Our admin has a lot on his Christmas-table but will sort it out, though it might take a week or two.

Made two raiddates for Icecrown Citadel this week only to realise it was a breeze. The biggest difficulty seemed to be to not jetpack yourself off the battleship, like our anonymous warrior, lets call him Ongek, did. Only 4 more weeks to the next 4 bosses! Yay 🙁

Nothing more to say really than: We be tha bomb! (or something cooler than that but i’m not wearing my owl-underwear today which means i’m not in my cooler than coolest state of mind)
